Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor.
Since our humble beginning we have always strived to maintain the high standards of Kappa Alpha Psi, by giving scholarships, mentoring , promoting and volunteering in positive endeavors throughout the Valdosta Community.
Some notable endeavors include: The Annual Christmas Sharing Program, where the Chapter adopts a local family to help provide for them during Christmas. We have worked tirelessly with voter registration in our area and in 2008 along with other Greeks registered 380 people. And most recently the Chapter in it’s efforts to help eliminate teen incarceration, have teamed up with the local Juvenile Court System’s to sponsor the “Youth Summit for Delinquent Youth” to mentor troubled youth and provide positive role models for them to look up too. Valdosta Alumni also sponsors the L.E.E.P. program, to get expelled students back in school. The Valdosta Alumni has provided over 50 scholarships to local students attending college. The Chapter has also supported L.A.M.P. in their philanthropic efforts.
